China’s Shenzhou 20 mission successfully docked with the Tiangong space station on April 24, 2025, marking another step in the country’s long-term ambitions for a crewed lunar landing and Mars exploration. The three-person crew will conduct experiments, spacewalks, and equipment upgrades during their six-month mission aboard the Chinese-built orbital platform.
